OUR INVESTMENT PROCESS
Following initial discussions, Berkshire PE will provide a rapid answer to managers, owners and advisors in respect of our willingness to purchase the company, and the terms upon which we would be prepared to acquire a majority stake. This can be within 7 days but will be subject to further due diligence once an offer is accepted
The investment process after agreeing on exclusivity involves a short period of due diligence, with professional advisors whom we have worked with over many years. We would expect to complete and fund acquisitions 6 weeks after entering exclusivity, on the terms agreed, even in a post-pandemic world
